Michigan Framily Reunion

MFR is located in Wayland, MI, on 80 acres of a pine tree farm, graciously gifted  to L2L to build MFR.  Wayland, MI is 20 minutes from Grand Rapids airport.

Michigan Framily Reunion (MFR) is a women’s music festival. MFR is created by females for females.   The producers assume that each female attending will act with kindness, compassion, and respect.  It is the hope of MFR crew & producers  that you will come to our festival and feel safe, uplifted, and supported.

Michigan Framily Reunion is a gathering of women to celebrate being a women.  We honor the wisdom of sisters gathering to teach and lighten each other’s loads.  We gather together separate from the patriarchal world to energize, educate, and empathize in a safe space.  As a Framily, we work together to build something beautiful and better.  When we all work together, we remember our mothers that worked together.  In this spirit, all women attending Michigan Framily Reunion are required to volunteer for three hours in one of the organizational areas: welcome center, parking, security, grounds, shuttle, store, pussy central, fire mistress, performer support, Girl Fridays, or stage hands.  Once arriving and checking into Welcome Center, you will be directed to sign up for your work shift.

We have supported MFR since its beginning in 2016

Go Girl! Saugatuck

Go Girl Saugatuck! started with the determination to create the Midwest’s very own women’s weekend in beautiful western Michigan, just two miles from the great Lake Michigan.  Over 400 were in attendance from Chicago to Detroit to Milwaukee to Cleveland.  Women wanted a good time together and brought it!

Produced by Mimi Gonzalez, Go Girl Saugatuck! offers the best of many national women’s events for which this veteran comedian has worked. A Provincetown, MichFest and Olivia Women’s Travel regular, her heart and focus are always geared to your vacation and good time.

The Dunes Resort is the premier LGBTQ destination in the Midwest. The inaugural year proved our region was ready for a women’s weekend and the resort was sold out in record time. Workshops, pool games, open mic, DJs, a comedy show and main event music show will highlight the nights.

Vender market will be open only on Saturday, 01 June 2019 from 9 am to 6 PM.

Ohio Lesbian Festival

The Ohio Lesbian Festival is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven womyn only event designed to promote womyn’s community, music and art. The Festival was founded on the premise that lesbians and queer womyn need opportunities and spaces to recognize and support each other, to define our culture, to find our own strengths and to be empowered. All womyn are welcome!

This is one of the first womyn music fest festivals we ever attended! We have attended and supported OLF since 1995!

Springfield PrideFest

We have been attending and supporting Springfield Pride since it begin in 2011.

This street fair is held the 3rd Saturday of May. It is the product of many hours of hard work and meetings and it is the best festival in Central Illinois! It is a day of embracing diversity and celebrating the Central IL LGBTQ community. It is an event with something for everyone – a kids area, a large stage with live entertainment, lots of great vendors selling goods and giving out  information, great food & drinks, tons of fun, and time spent with family & friends.
